Stump Grinders or stump cutters are power tools or attachments that remove tree stumps by means of a rotating cutting disk that chips away the wood.

Stump grinders come in various sizes with some as small as a lawn mower to truck size. Most Stump Grinders work by means of a high-speed, rotating disk with teeth that grind the stump and roots into small chips.
